Modern Family Vacation opened with a bang. The casting was perfect, and the first performance was as flawless as you could hope for. Kate might be the youngest by a decade, but held her own (and her dancing shines). She plays two characters, and with a range from dramatic to ditz. We think that her singing is stronger in this show as well- she is in her belting range, and is developing a smooth tone. The whole cast are exceptional singers this year, and there was some actual acting to round out the entertainment package.
Kate says that she nearly toppled down the stairs during one number, but we didn't notice.
The set a.k.a the main staircase in the Titanic II. Note the nod to Starbucks
Disaster was the decoration theme in the theatre
Opening night bouquet
