Many Dutch farmers augment their income by running a small campground; these are especially common here in the Dutch Riviera. The typical offering is a perfectly-manicured lawn and a spotless washroom, and the sounds and smells of the country.
This morning we can hear the rooster network, stretching from distant farms all the way back to the rooster right outside our tent. There are also geese, hogs and what must be an ancestor of the cow but sounds like a mastodon in distress.
