And part way down the other side. We cycled to the source of the Tarn, entailing a 25 km climb (not too tough, but incessant) and a serious amount of eating. I am sure that our current diet would sustain a small village of sedentary septuagenarians. Our menu de jour included four bowls of meusli, some leftover baguette, two boiled eggs, three confections from the patesserie, another baguette, 1/4 lb of butter, chunk of cheese, steak and potatoes, carrots and tomatoes, most of another baguette, a couple of chocolate bars and some cookies. Oh, and some wine. And then most of a bottle of wine.
The weird thing is that my shorts feel too loose around the waist ...
