Arles

After yesterday's rant about city navigation, the local Gods took pity and delivered us from Avignon (though we did end up on a motorway for a bit).   Riding improved steadily all day, and surprised us with a great climb over the Alpinnes, a roadside aquaduct and an old stone quarry at Les Baux des Provence.

We wrapped up the day with a pression while we contemplated the stadium and Van Gogh's yellow house in Arles.

Note that objects behind me are as close as they appear - only cafe where I felt a real risk of being hit by car while in my chair.
